Burgers Burgers Burgers! So this place is really good- not fantastic but really good. What I love is the way they do the old school buns on the grill. Love those crispy edges. I also loved the fries. Handcut or appear to be and they don't skimp. They have a "special sauce" it's not like a 1000 island sauce but white - kind of like tartar sauce but not tartar sauce. I fed 3 kids and 3 adults for $30. I think that is pretty awesome. We didn't get milkshakes though. It seems the negative reviews are how expensive burgers and milkshakes are. I guess being from Central Texas I am accustomed to paying $3-$5 for a good shake with my burger. If I had to choose between In-N-Out and Roger's - I would choose Roger's hands down every time.

when I think of "fast food" I think of horrible service and cheap mass produced food. NOT here. everytime I stop by I'm greeted with a smile and treated so kindly. I've never had such good service from a burger restraunt. the food is always awesome if you don't mind a little grease :)

I have only eaten here once. The burgers are tasty, simple thin patty, but good value. Nothing extraordinary, but tasty although I like pickle on mine. Fries missed the mark, but some will appreciate this type of fry as they are made from real potatoes on site. Mine were overcooked and limp, like the grease in the fryer needed to be changed. The shakes also missed the mark, Icy and not smooth and rich like the frozen custard you get in the Midwest. One thing I appreciated is the 2 oz ketchup and fry sauce you can do yourself as opposed to packets or 1oz containers. Thumbs up, I just hope others do not ruin it by throwing a bunch away when they do not use it. Service was friendly. I will return mostly for value and convenience.

Great food, milkshakes are awesome but pricy. You cant beat a real milkshake. Somethings are just worth paying for!! That is Roger's burgers at its finest. We dont make it there too much maybe once a month but I look forward to it everytime

Roger...wherever you are...I'd like to shake your hand. Your fine establishment cooks up some quality burgers that would have me going back everyday if I lived in Coeur D'Alene. The Triple D burger I had was absolutely delicious. The burger reminded me of a five guys burger except with more grease and thinner burgers. Think a mix of Steak N Shake and 5 Guys. The only disappointment was the fries. They were soggy but tasted similar to 5 Guys with the exception that they were of the shoestring variety. I just can't express how delicious this burger was. Juicy, cheesy, greasy, and flavorful. One bite in had me pinching myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. No, I don't remember any of my dreams...but I'm sure if I did they would be about Roger's Triple D burger. I must have downed that burger in less than 5 minutes because before I knew it my plate was empty. I would go to Roger's everyday if I could, but since that's not happening I'll gladly tell everyone I can about how good this place is. I give Roger's Ice Cream & Burgers 4 Doubledays.

Classic Burger and Fries. This is a regular stop for my family from out of town. My personal favorite is the Double with cheese. GLORIOUS. The fries are crunchy and salty the way it should be. I will go back any day. The price is about the same as most fast food joints in town. Yum!

I'm from Seattle and dicks is always the go-to, came over here for silver wood theme park and decided to try this place out. Absolutely incredible. The burgers dare I say are better than Dicks. Very moist and greasy like a burger should be. Will come here anytime I'm close!

Not impressed! The fries were dripping with grease and the burgers a gut bomb! To top that off, the bathrooms and entire dining area smell like an old latrine. This place is in serious need of updating.

Pretty dang good burger. Reminds me of In-n-Out. Not quite as good, but definitely will return. Their animal style equivalent is called "beast mode" and for $0.35 it's definitely worth it to hulk out. Oh and don't miss the huckleberry shake, it's like heaven in your mouth. Sometimes the best food it made by 16 year old kids.

I had a great craving for fries. I had mentioned to a friend that my favorite fries were at Roger's at Coeur d' Alene, Id. When we ordered the Hamburger and the fries I expected the best fries this side of Washington. I was wrong, they were burned and cold. After I tried eating them I decided to complain. The cook offered to cook a replacement but it was too late. it will be a long time before I will return from Spokane. the best fries are at Dick's in Seattle.

Damn good burgers! We used Yelp to find a place to have a burger. It was hot, gooey, cheesy, goodness!

When I come from San Diego to visit my family in ID, this is our go to place. It definitely competes with "in and out". Burgers are juicy and flavorful. Milkshake with them fries!? Hell yea baby super duper size. If you're looking for good ol fashioned burgers this is the spot.

Good burger and equally good fries. And yes I'll say, loosely reminiscent of "In & Out Burgers". Plenty of parking, friendly service, and clean (but stark) dining room. Certainly not gourmet, but a great stop when you need a good burger in CDA.

Burgers were... Meh. Fries were soggy. Service was alright. Sometimes you need a little grease and you can get it here. Sort of like In and out but way too much. Keep the burger simple.

Coming from California this is probably the closest you are going to get to In-N-Out. It was really greasy, fresh tasting, and hit the spot.

I've been here once, and I probably won't go back. The burger was greasy and kind of gross. The chocolate milkshake was fabulous. My friend and I went and our bill was two cheeseburgers, a chocolate shake and a coke for a total of around $23.00! That seems incredibly high for a drive through burger joint. I love a good burger, and this place didn't deliver. But if I'm ever craving a milkshake, this is where I'll go.

Don't understand what all the fuss is about this place. I understand that it's an extension of the small Roger's Burgers and Ice Cream joint on Sherman, but I didn't get the hoopla over that place either. What you can expect to be served at Roger's is more or less the same food you'd get at the local county fair. You know, those brown, thinly-cut, soggy, cold fries in the little red and white checkered paper tray are also available at Roger's if you don't feel like waiting until late August/early September to eat the exact same thing at the fairgrounds. The thin-patty burgers on soggy buns with enough grease to make the average person go from zero to diarrhea in 6 seconds are also readily available via a simple trip through the drive-thru versus the long lines in the dirty fair food court where you have to wait for 80 year old men to serve you. It's fair food that you can buy year round at a convenience. Not bad if you're into that sort of thing.

I've only eaten at this location once. The burgers were decent. The fries were a little overcooked. The food is a little better at the other location. I like that there is an indoor eating section unlike the other Roger's Burgers. It's nice when it's too hot or too cold outside.

Though a bit inconsistant, easily the best burger in CdA. Even better if you have them leave off the tarter-sauce-like substance. Fries are good but not great. Their fry sauce is pretty tasty on them though. Service is usually good and the food is not terribly priced.

Good burgers, but please do something about the fries. French fries are more than just fried potatoes. Or, offer a good salad alternative.

Really good food! Very greasy though and definitely a no no for anyone trying to lose weight. Fries were delicious but over cooked. Probably wont go here for a while but the one downtown is definitely better.
